A WEEKEND IN NORTHERN MICHIGANCara & Jake have always loved long weekends spent in THE OUTDOORS with friends — slow mornings, shared meals, bonfires, music playing, and the memories made between the planned moments. That feeling is a huge part of why we wanted to create a wedding weekend where everyone could stay together on the property.
❋ What is Fountain Point?Fountain Point is a historic cottage property on Lake Leelanau with a classic, old-Michigan summer camp feel. It’s made up of a collection of cabins and shared gathering spaces right on the water, with docks, open lawns, porches.
❋ How it WorksThe property is reserved from Wednesday through Monday, and you’re welcome to arrive or leave whenever works best for your schedule — official wedding festivities begin Friday morning. Please reserve your stay by September 1st if you plan on staying at the property.
❋ What to ExpectThere will be a few planned group activities starting Friday afternoon but think plenty of free time to explore Lake Leelanau and nearby towns.
❋ LocationFountain Point is about a 25-minute drive from Traverse City and 20 minutes from Glen Arbor by car.
