A man and a woman holding hands and smiling at each other on a city street. The woman is wearing a beige dress and high heels, while the man is wearing a light shirt, dark pants, and brown shoes. Trees and apartment buildings are visible in the background, along with parked cars and a yellow traffic sign indicating a speed bump with a 15 miles per hour speed limit.

Cara and Jake’s story started in 2019 when their mutual friends introduced them at a Hillel Hanukkah party at Michigan State right before Covid. After some mutual "light stalking" during finals week and around campus (Jake suddenly deciding Hillel was the place to be), they started dating and quickly became inseparable.

Their relationship was tested early on through long distance during Covid (only 3 weeks into them officially dating) and then again through a 25 days road-trip across the U.S. the following summer.

Somewhere between cooking all their meals, getting lost on hikes, and the Red Nissan Rogue breaking down too many times, Cara figured if they could survive that, they could survive just about anything.

Since then, they've lived together in Chicago and New York City, traveled to so many corners of the world, and spent most weekends outdoors. They can’t wait to celebrate at Fountain Point with their closest family and friends.

And the rest is history.

Nearly seven years later, Cara and Jake are so excited to celebrate the next chapter of their story with all of you at Fountain Point.
