  • Local favorite bakery in Leland with fresh pastries, bread, and coffee. Perfect quick stop before exploring Fishtown.

Things to do

    • Leland – Historic Fishtown, small shops, and a really charming waterfront.

    • Glen Arbor – Cute downtown, great cafés, and close access to the Dunes.

    • Suttons Bays – A charming lakeside town with a cute downtown, cozy cafés, and easy access to the Sleeping Bear Dunes.

    • Traverse City – Bigger town with lots of restaurants, shopping, and lake views.

  • Brys Estate, Bluestone Vineyards, and WaterFire Vineyards are all great options for an afternoon wine tasting.

    • Empire Bluff Trail – Short and straightforward (~1.5 miles round trip) with some of the best views of Lake Michigan.

    • Pyramid Point Trail – A bit longer (~2.7 miles round trip) but absolutely worth it for the overlook at the top.

    • Sleeping Bear Dunes – A must-see if you’ve never been to the area. The famous Dune Climb is flexible (you can go as far as you want—typically 1–2 miles round trip depending on how far you explore).
